Themselves Fountain Square Art Fair coincides with Masterpiece in a day and I took part in both this year. I went with Chris Ludden and his wife Ginger, who both do a web based comic at TheBrothersGrant.com. And also mystic friend and cohort Matthew Barron. All of them members of the Indy webcomics group. We made a specialists 16 page mini-comic for the event consisting of two stories. One by Chris and the other written by Matthew and drawn by me. I also participated in masterpieces in a day. An event at fountain square that has you work an entire piece of art in public at fountain square. A great, fun event that I encourage any artist to do. They have a visual art, writing, and music entry.
I included a photo of the piece I did for the event. It's a poor photo, and I did want to do more with my painting but ran out of time. It didn't win any prizes except to a lot of positive comments and it was invited back for the next first friday event at the wheeler arts gallery. The day was amazing fun and I can't wait until next year.
